A lot of reasons to be thankful/happy!

I pride myself on being as positive as I can, no matter how difficult it is to see through the clouds sometimes. Lately I have found myself more frustrated than normal (channeling adolescent Steve!), but I feel more relaxed, more chill, more positive again.

The FUNdraiser we threw put me in my place. Chatting with one of my pals, Scott, whose Grandparents suffered from cancer as well. We were saying about how people (myself included) complain about day-to-day frustrations like they are the end of the world, but when you step back, they are literally not worth thinking about, let alone fretting over.

People deal with things differently, but more and more I remind myself not to complain because someone always has it worse.

Different strokes for different folks I suppose. But I do have a lot to be thankful for:

-Another successful (the most successful to date) fundraiser. Had a blast!

-Homemade Sushi dinner from Ms. Kathryn Stiel = delicious! Nothing like chowing down on crispy-spicy in the comfort of your own living quarters! Katie even watched wrestling with me last night, and it was awesome (for me, haha!) Ladies and gents - I present to you, my dream girl!

-My bro and Amanda just celebrated 10 years together. Before I met Katie, they were (and are) my inspiration that true love exists. Couldn't be happier for them!

-A recurring character in my "thankful" posts, one Michael Gillon. This guys personality is shining through and he provides me with me tons of laughs! We are watching Yo Gabba Gabba tomorrow with my Mom!

-Shirt-making with Noel is going well! Fan Expo in August and it's fast approaching. We may butt heads almost daily, but no one I'd rather do it with!

-Got a call from another best pal, Justin the other night, wishing us luck - all the way from the other side of the earth...miss that dude!

-Maybe road-tripping to Ottawa with Kathryn next week, very cool!

-And I just heard a HUGE secret today, which I can't talk about right now, but holy crap, Bat-man!!!!

Did someone say bat???? I'm out of here! AHHHH!

  1. OTTAWA IS AWESOME! I've been there twice in the past 10 months. I love that place. Take the Parliamentary tour. Everyone takes the Centre Block tour, but the best one is East Block. That's where our greatest national treasure, Sir John A. Macdonald, had his office. You will not regret taking these tours, trust me.
