NEW NEPHEW!!!!
Been a while, hasn't it??? Just wanted to inform the blogesphere that on Wednesday, Feb. 10 at 3:33am, little Matthew David Nicholas Gillon was born! Weighing in at 8 pounds, 10 ounces, he is the second child of my bro Dave and Amanda! Mikey's going to be such a great big bro, I just know it!
I get no greater joy in life than being an Uncle and now I have 2 nephews!
I am part of such an amazing family!

Happy Holidays!!! Hanukkah, Kwanza, Christmas, New Years, whatever it may be - hope you're enjoying it!
Things have been wicked-hectic for yours truley but that's how it goes this time of year!
-Didn't make it to Ohio due to snow, however a fun cereal/pop-tart/american beer run was made to Buffalo, which included a stop at the Cheesecake Factory for desert!
-Found out I have an ulcer and imflammation in the tummy. Taking steps to destroy it, so could be worse!
-Got a tattoo of a cassette tape with 'Uncle Mike' written inside (thanks, brother Dave!) This was to symbolize Mike's impact on my life and the cassette signifies the tape me made for me, which contains my all-time favorite album: Oasis' What's The Story, Morning Glory? Got it on the18th of December - my Bro and Mike's birthday!
-Grinch musical was spectacular and fun for the whole fam!
-Christmas was plain awesome! Started a new tradition with my Mom and I having brunch with Amanda, Dave and Mikey on Christmas Eve! Such a great time! The whole holiday was great seeing mine, Amanda's and Katie's family! Twas a great time!
-2 years ago we lost Papa Fred but his kind spirit and sense of humor will never be forgotten! Miss ya, Pop-pop! One of the, if not THE funniest dudes ever!

Testing, Testing...
Does anyone read this pile of words anymore? I'm not sure, but I apologize to those who visit and are subsequently dissapointed with my effort (or lack thereof.)
I do miss blogging, though I can't help but feel the slightest bit vein when doing this. But then again, as my lovely girlfriend pointed out, it is called 'Steve Thoughts' for a reason and I never claimed to be a reliable source for all your blogging needs.
ANYWAYS...here is another jumbled assortment of what is going on in my life:
-Attending the official MOvember Gala Parte tonight in Toronto, alongside Katie. I will be sporting a blazer and a blonde (sandy blonde) stache. Tomorrow is a bash for MO in Hamilton, should always been fun-filled and beer-fueled as well. Sorry liver!
-Santa Clause Parade with my neph and the fam this Saturday!!!! Stoked that Mikey loves Christmas and shall be a great day indeed! Also, I found out I have Christmas Eve off!
-Poker with the dudes on Saturday night!!!! I honestly look forward to these nights as much as anything! Always fun! Come to think of it, gonna be a great weekend!!!!
-Celebrated 2 awesome years with Katie last week!!!!!
-Noel and I did commentary for the pilot episode of A-1 Wrestling last weekend, which is set to air in December on Cable 14!!!
-Got my rear windshield smashed last weekend, not so great! Could have been worse!
-Going to be taking an online Fundraising course in the new year through Niagara College. Really stoked to continue my education with something that I am wicked passionate about!
-Getting a new tattoo, which will be a cassette tape on my forearm with my Uncle Mike's name written in! Getting it on December 18th, which is my bro and uncles bday! Super awesome!!!

The MOvember Fundraiser last weekend was beyond rad (pun certainly intended!)
Sold 18 tees and raised close to $600 bucks - mix that with a lot of help from my pals, we put on quite the party!
Honestly, it's a feeling I wish I could translate into text, but again, the mark of a bad writer, I cannot.
That night I'll never forget and it's under becoming an Uncle/Godfather as one of the coolest things I've done.
Thanks to everyone that helps me and supports me!

MO YA!
So we are 3 days deep into the month of MOvember (I'll do my best to never refer to it by it's former name, November, again!)
MOvember is a month where dudes grow moustaches in an effort to raise awareness/funds towards the destruction and oblieration of prostate cancer!
I'm currently in the midst of rocking a handle-bar stache, a la Hulk Hogan! Heck, if we raise enough bucks, I will even dye it blonde!
Fundraiser this Saturday - impossible to be more stoked!!!
Other than that, Halloween was a blast and included a party at Steamwhistle with Katie and the gang, a viewing of Rocky Horror Picture Show, hanging with the fam and seeing Toddler Mikey Nephew Turtle, and horror movies!
Sorry Uncle Mike and Brother Dave,
I tried to get through Pet Sematary without being haunted and terrified, but no dice!!! For one reason and one reason only: ZELDA!!!
